- Medical data (such as treatment reports, diagnoses, medication)

- Maintaining a medical record (in accordance with the WGBO)
- Submitting claims to health insurers
- Quality assurance and record keeping

We process your data on the basis of:
- Performance of the treatment agreement
- Legal obligations (such as the WGBO)
- Your consent (for example, for referrals)
5. Who has access to your data?
Your data is only shared with:
- Practitioners within our practice
- Administrative staff (where necessary)
- Infomedics (for claims processing)
- IT service providers (for secure storage)
Please note: As of 1 September 2025, Jeannine Grin and Annette Tapia-Cornet are no longer working as acupuncturists at our practice. Your file will remain securely stored and will only be accessed by the succeeding healthcare providers within our team.
6. Retention period
Your medical data is retained in accordance with the statutory retention period of 20 years.

You have the right to:
- Access your file
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data (where legally permitted)
- Withdraw your consent
- File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing.
